Mad Love and Crime

There are cases when extreme character of mad love leads to tremendously dangerous and even criminal outcomes. These cases are not too frequent but when they happen they shake the areas where they take place and people who find out about these stories.
Examples of the obvious connection between mad love and crime are usually possible to find on TV in those horrible documentaries about people who lose their minds because of love. Details are various: a man gets too jealous and kills his wife's lover, her and himself in the long run; a man and a woman who spice up their mad love with maddening drugs (heroin) kill each other for various reasons etc.
In other words, mad love is something that is not accepted as normal in the world, it is the 'borderline' phenomenon which – just like crime – leads to dramatic outcomes. Of course, unlike crime, mad love itself doesn't always result in murders or lethal injuries, however, these two notions stand in one line due to their common features like extreme and explosive character as well as connection with the wrong spheres of life – crime, drugs, alcohol abuse.
Definitely, the fact that people who are usually involved in mad love are very eccentric, often impulsive and attract troubles, threats and risks often contributes to the tightening of connection between mad love and criminal world.
